“We thank God we are putting smiles on the faces of widows and empowering them. No matter how little whatever that got to them, they are happy having them.”

In her statement she lamented the poor economic state of the country which has limited the convener to do more for the widows as desire.

Babatunde after presenting the cash gifts to the widows also encourage many people who God has bless to periodically stretch helping hands to the widows and vulnerables around them.

“Empowerment of the widows is not a one man’s job, we ask individuals, corporate bodies to see to the plight of widows and empower them. It is not easy for people who are working and have husband talk more of a widow, people who are blessed should do something no matter how little it might be. ”

Babatunde while addressing the widows made a vow to always give to the widows annually and I pray to God to fulfil my mandate.”

A preacher, David Olukayode in his exhortation admonished the widows to keep praying for their children and stay glue to God for provision instead of humans promises.

David Olukayode along side Mr Ojo pray for the widows and the sponsors of the empowerment.
