A trailer truck had collided with another vehicle on Felele Road with another trail involved in a self accident running into the road divider in Lokoja, Kogi State, resulting in substantial damage to the roadway and triggering moderate congestion.
However, there were no casualties, but the truck sustain damaged and scattered cartons of tiles on the road leading to obstruction of traffic flow.
Emergency responders are presently working to clear the wreckage and restore normal traffic circulation.
This incident occurs mere days after a devastating crash on the same Felele axis, claiming the lives of several Federal University Lokoja students and the shuttle bus driver.
Although the accident’s cause remains unknown at the time of reporting, eyewitnesses interviewed speculated about the potential consequences if the university had not been closed, especially given today’s Monday schedule.
