The Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has expressed deep condolences over the loss of the mother of Jeremiah Enemona Ochema, late Mrs Hellen Adiza Ocheme, distinguished reporter with AIT serving in Kano.
In a condolence message signed by his spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Governor Yusuf extended his sympathies to Jeremiah Ochema and the entire AIT family.
The Governor praised the late mother for her exemplary role in raising a dedicated and hardworking journalist, praying for God to grant her eternal rest and the family the strength to bear the loss.
The Governor prayed to Almighty Allah to grant departed soul eternal rest, provide comfort and peace to their families during this difficult time.
Governor Yusuf reiterated his belief in the vital role played by journalists and academics in shaping society and promised to continue supporting these pillars of development in Kano State.
