SWS PRESIDENT INTERNATIONAL CELEBRATES MUSLIM FAITHFUL ON EIDIL FITR. CALLS FOR RELIGION TOLERANCE AND UNITY
Eid-il-Fitri is a Celebration of Gratitude and Unity
As the holy month of Ramadan comes to a close, the Standup for Women Society (SWS) joins millions of Muslims around the world in celebrating Eid-il-Fitri, a joyous occasion that marks the end of fasting and the beginning of a new month.
In a press statement signed by the Intetnational President of SWS, Barr. Deborah A. Ejadele-Adetona and made public by the National Public Relations Officer, Lib. Billie Nwogu, stated that this festive period is a time for reflection, gratitude, and unity. It’s an opportunity for the people to come together with family, friends, and community, to share in the spirit of love, compassion, and generosity among Muslim and other religions faithful.
As the Muslim world celebrates Eid-il-Fitri, it is the time to remember the values that define us as a people: kindness, empathy, and selflessness.
SWS urged muskoms to honour the sacrifices made during Ramadan, and look forward to a brighter future filled with hope, peace, and prosperity.
The International President on behalf of all SWS members extend her warmest greetings to Muslims everywhere, and to all those who join in the celebration of Eid-il-Fitri.
