On February 21, 2025, His Royal Majesty, the Ohinoyi-Ebira received in his palace, Mr. Zubair Abubakar, the Assistant Inspector General of Police Zone 8, along with Mr. Dantawaye, the Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Police Command.

In a Press Statement made public by the Chief Press Secretary to Ohinoyi,
Abdulhakeem O. O,  the two officials from the Nigerian Police Force visited the palace of Ohinoyi Ebira to pay a courtesy visit and seek the Monarch’s support and blessings as they carry out their duties.

The two police leaders eulogised His Royal Majesty for his efforts and commitment to maintaining peace and order in his kingdom, referring to him as the champion of Community Policing, which aligns with the vision of the Inspector General of Police.

The Assistant Inspector General of Police commended the monarch for his wise leadership, which has contributed to the unity and tranquility of Ebiraland.

In response, His Royal Majesty, Ohinoyi Ebira Alh. (Dr.) Ahmed Tijani Muhammed Anaje warmly welcomed them. He acknowledged their efforts and the wisdom they have employed in addressing the concerns of the youth, particularly as regards the recently suspended peaceful demonstration, as well as the measures implemented to sustain peace in the state.

Present at the meeting were the Ohi of Ihima, several Taarus, ward heads, social-cultural groups, the Area Commander, and various District Police Officers serving in various communities within the kingdom.
