HON. SULEIMAN NASIRU CONGRATULATES GOVERNOR BIODUN ABAYOMI OYEBANJI ON HISTORIC RE-ELECTION VICTORY, APPRECIATES EBIRA COMMUNITY IN EKITI STATE
Hon. Suleiman Nasiru, SA on Ethnic Relations (Ebira) to the Government of Ekiti State, heartily congratulates His Excellency, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on his resounding and historic re-election as Governor of Ekiti State.
The overwhelming mandate freely given by the good people of Ekiti State is a clear testament to the Governor’s remarkable achievements, inclusive leadership, and unwavering commitment to the development and prosperity of the state. Governor Oyebanji’s first administration has been widely recognized for its focus on infrastructure development, human capital development, security, agriculture, economic growth, stakeholder engagement, and people-centered governance, which have significantly improved the lives of Ekiti residents.
The Governor’s administration has also been commended for promoting inclusive governance, strengthening community relations, improving infrastructure, and ensuring that every ethnic group residing in Ekiti State enjoys a sense of belonging and participation in governance.
Hon. Suleiman Nasiru particularly expresses profound gratitude to the entire Ebira community across Ekiti State for their exceptional support, commitment, and loyalty throughout the electioneering process. The Ebira people demonstrated uncommon unity and political maturity by delivering all 168 polling units within their areas, resulting in a remarkable 100 percent support for Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s re-election bid.
This historic achievement reflects the confidence reposed in Governor Oyebanji’s administration and the strong relationship that exists between the government and the Ebira community in Ekiti State.
Hon. Nasiru also extends special appreciation to His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, and former Governor Yahaya Bello for their invaluable support, strategic intervention, encouragement, and solidarity, which greatly contributed to the successful mobilization of the Ebira people during the election.
Furthermore, he commends the leadership and members of the Ebira Progressive Youth Association, alongside all community stakeholders, traditional leaders, women groups, and youth organizations, whose dedication, hard work, and grassroots mobilization efforts ensured the success recorded during the governorship election.
Hon. Suleiman Nasiru also expresses his sincere appreciation to Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for the confidence reposed in him through his appointment as SA on Ethnic Relations (Ebira). He notes that the appointment has provided him with a unique opportunity to serve and represent the interests of Kogi State indigenes and the wider Ebira community residing in Ekiti State.

Governor Oyebanji was re-elected after securing a decisive victory across all 16 Local Government Areas of the state, further underscoring the widespread acceptance of his administration and its developmental agenda.
