CUSTECH OSARA APPOINTS VETERAN COMMUNICATOR, AUSTYN OCHU AS NEW HEAD OF INFORMATION, PUBLIC RELATIONS, PROTOCOL UNIT

Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, has announced the appointment of Mr. Austyn Ochu as the new Deputy Director of its Information, Public Relations, and Protocol Unit.

The appointment brings on board a seasoned communication expert with over three decades of experience in the field.

Mr. Ochu, a respected figure in the media and public relations landscape, has served in various capacities within the Kogi State Government and the Kogi State Broadcasting Corporation.

His extensive career has been marked by a commitment to excellence and a deep understanding of strategic communication, making him a valuable addition to the CUSTECH Osara management team.

Although Mr. Ochu retired from active service in 2015, he has remained highly active in the communication sector, leveraging his expertise to contribute to various initiatives.

His appointment at CUSTECH Osara is on a contract basis, reflecting the university management’s confidence in his ability to drive the institution’s public relations and protocol functions to new heights.

In his new role, Mr. Ochu is expected to bring his wealth of experience to bear, enhancing the university’s internal and external communication strategies, fostering stronger relationships with stakeholders, and promoting the institution’s vision and achievements.

Mr. Ochu is happily married with children and grandchildren. His appointment has been widely celebrated by colleagues and associates who have described him as a dedicated professional with a proven track record of excellence.
